1. Introduction

Welcome to Ako Keja. By using this application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. For Property Seekers (Users)

The Booking Fee paid through Ako Keja is strictly for reserving the listing and unlocking contact details.
Ako Keja does NOT sell, rent, or own any property listed on the platform.
Users are strongly advised to physically visit the property before making any further payments.

3. Deposit & Payment Warning (Very Important)

Users MUST NOT pay any deposit, rent, or other fees to landlords, caretakers, or agents before visiting the property in person.
Ako Keja shall NOT be liable for any losses if a user makes payments without visiting the property and the property turns out to be unavailable, misrepresented, or fraudulent.
Any payments made outside the Ako Keja platform are done entirely at the user's own risk.

4. Property Visit Requirement

After paying the booking fee, users are expected to visit the property as soon as possible.
Ako Keja provides a navigation assistant to help users locate booked properties.
Delays in visiting the property may result in the property being taken by another party, for which Ako Keja will not be responsible.

5. For Feeders (Property Scouts)

ACCURACY IS MANDATORY. Feeders confirm that all uploaded properties exist, are vacant, and all details (location, price, photos, and description) are truthful and current.
Feeders must have legitimate authority or verified information to list the property.

5.1 GPS Location Requirement for Feeders

Feeders MUST upload properties while physically present at the property location.
GPS must be enabled and accurate at the time of uploading any feed.
Ako Keja relies on GPS coordinates to display and navigate users to properties.
Uploading properties with incorrect, manipulated, or off-site GPS locations is a serious violation.
Failure to comply may result in account suspension, removal of listings, or permanent ban.

6. Fraud & Liability (Strict Policy)

Posting fake, misleading, or non-existent properties is a serious violation and may constitute a criminal offense.
Any Feeder found engaging in fraud will have their account IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED.
Ako Keja reserves the right to take LEGAL ACTION against fraudulent Feeders to recover damages, booking fees, and related costs.
Feeders are financially liable for refunds caused by dishonest or misleading listings.

7. Payments & Settlements

Feeder earnings are released via M-Pesa after a 3-day verification period.
If a booking is disputed within this period, payments will be withheld pending investigation.

8. Platform Responsibility Limitation

Ako Keja acts solely as a digital marketplace and is not responsible for agreements made outside the app.
We do not guarantee availability, pricing, or condition of properties beyond the information provided by Feeders.

9. Privacy

User data is handled securely. Personal details are shared only when necessary to facilitate bookings and contact between users and Feeders. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By continuing to use Ako Keja, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
